The Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost provides funds to support professional development of term faculty. A Term Faculty Learning Community (TFLC) was piloted for the 2022-2023 academic year. It afforded early-career, term faculty an opportunity to cultivate leadership skills, build connections, and pursue their professional goals. The purpose and focus aligned with the university’s mission to “create, share, and apply knowledge.” It also dovetailed with the goals outlined in the 2022-2031 strategic goals and furthered four thematic pillars: foster innovative solutions, education experience, knowledge and discovery, and community engagement.
